Xiaomi mi mix, new edgeless designed phone.

Xiaomi announced on 25th of October a new futuristic looking phone rocking the highest specs you could find on the Android market.

While other companies are racing for edged or force sensitive screens, Xiaomi is seeing the future of smartphones flat with nothing but a screen and a buttons bar.

the device has a huge 6.4 inches 2040X1080 pixel display (17:9 ratio and 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio), that makes the device just slightly bigger than the Iphone 7 plus or the new pixel xl thanks to the edgeless design. To make this happen Xiaomi needed to solve 3 problems, first the proximity sensor which they replaced by ultrasonic hidden sensor, second the camera which they placed at the bottom of the device right beside the navigation buttons, and finally the earpiece that the company managed to replace it with a new a piezoelectric ceramic driver that vibrates the body frame to generate sound.

The smartphone is powered by snapdragon 821 processor and Adreno 530 GPU, with two storage variants The 128GB model that gets 4GB of RAM while the 256GB model that gets 6GB of RAM. The 256GB model also features 18K gold accents on the camera lens and the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the back.

The back camera is a 16 megapixel that shots 4k with EIS and the front camera is 5 megapixels.

the 4400 mAh Li-Ion battery is none removable and fast charged up to 83% in just half an hour.

The phone is going on sale on the 4th of November priced at about 520$ for the 128GB version or 590$ for the 256GB version.
